Missing Teeth

Nora's been without tooth for about a year...Evan not so long. The funny thing is that the first tooth they are both missing is the same one! Love the toothless smiles!!!

Sunglasses

What do you mean I have them on upside down????

Mommy Nora

Nora is beginning to get into playing with her dolls...feeding, changing and walking them especially. At Target the other day we found some baby bottles, sippy cups, baby food, etc. Nora couldn't wait to get home...unfortunately I think the cats could have waited longer!

Summer is Here!!!

Weekend Mornings

These past few weeks have been too hot to go outside when we get home from work. So we promised Nora we would go out on Saturday. So, Mommy and Daddy woke up early, made some coffee and headed out EARLY Saturday morning (7am) to "enjoy" the day while we could. Daddy took advantage of raking and watering the yard and Nora just enjoyed it!!! We sang Itsy Bitsy Spider (Nora danced and signed), helped Daddy, played in the water, relaxed on the steps and made handprints on the cement. That pretty much sums it up. Phew, all that in only 2 hours!!!

The Little Girl

Daycare has funky hair day on occasion where all the girls get their hair done. Here is what I found. Where did my baby go and who is this little girl in her place???

Catching Up

It's been a busy couple of weeks. We spent last weekend catching up on errands so this weekend we are catching up at home...hopefully we will get time to play a little bit also. Anyway, here are a couple pics from the past couple of weeks.
Is this really my Mommom? Should I be worried?

Just me and my car.

Me and My Shadow

(yes that is mommy in the shadow...she was trying to be creative!)

Fun in the Park Again

Aunt Heather and Derek went with us to the park while they were here. Aunt Heather told me secrets on how to deal with my Mommy. I was listening AND asking questions!!! Thanks Aunt Heather.

And I have to say, I've had fun at the park before, but nothing measures up to the fun I had with my Derek! I love him to pieces.
He made me laugh so hard especially when he was sneaking up the slide to "scare" me. He is so funny! He was also at my birthday party but he's not in any of the pictures because he is the one who TOOK all the great shots from my party! Maybe a he will be a photographer when he grows up because he was so good at it!

Here I am with my some of my NY family that came to help me celebrate my first birthday. I sure did miss everyone else, but I will take what I can get. Boy, I am one loved little girl!!!

Thanks for making my 1st birthday so special!!!!

Fun in the Park

We celebrated Easter a day early with a visit from Nora's Grandparents. We ate lunch and then had some fun in the sun! Baby sure does like the park!! If you look closely, you can see Nora was my little spotted Easter egg this year. She got a horrible rash from a fever earlier this week. Nothing bad but it did warrant a trip to the doctors office because Mommy was wiggin' a little bit when it moved from her belly and back to her face overnight. At least it isn't a big deal and now we know we can expect this from time to time when she runs a fever. Now on to better things!

We hoped to take this opportunity to get some updated family shots, unfortunately, Nora wasn't having any of it. Although they aren't perfect, they are still pretty cute!

New Toy

I've actually had this for a little bit...it was mommy and daddy's 4 month birthday present to me. When I first got it, I didn't fit in it very well and could barely reach any of the toys or the bottom where my feet go. BUT, since I am growing so fast these days I can already touch the bottom and I have been able to explore all the toys. It really is pretty neat. And I love to stand up, it makes me feel like such a big girl!!!

PS - Although she keeps trying, Nora has promised Mommy that she will NOT to grow up too fast (for fears that mommy will start crying if she does grow up too fast).

Tummy Time

We keep practicing, but Nora still isn't sure if she likes being on her tummy! Soon enough I am sure she will be rolling back and forth and these days will seem like an eternity ago. As for now, you can see she prefers her back!
