Almost There

Only about 2 1/2 weeks before the new little man arrives...er...well at least I hope it isn't any longer than that.

And before you ask...yes...there is ONLY one in there. No he hasn't dropped...he's rested comfortably this low the entire pregnancy. Don't you think I know I look ready (aka miserable)...trust me when I say you don't have to remind me.

Those are just a few of the answers I want to start wearing on my belly. I really love people. Yes...there is just a hint of sarcasm there! Ha.

Disappointment

I am totally disappointed in my dad. I mean seriously..."dieting" before our belly pic. Totally not fair. I didn't stand a chance. I mean really...you knew we were going to do the pic.

I think Dad finally won one...

He's awful lucky he looks so good!!!

Kids Say...

the darndest things! Seriously the funniest thing happened to me this morning. I guess I should preface this by saying it is only funny because it was a bunch of 4 year-olds, otherwise, I just might have had a heart attach.

So dropped Nora off at daycare today...lately this has been a daddy thing so I haven't been around "school" in awhile. As we are getting Nora situated, one of her friends (from her bday party circle) came up to me and announced "Wow, your belly is really big!"

Normally (as you can see from my prior post) I would have been mortified. However, I could do nothing but get a big ole smile on my face and simply reply "well that is because there is a baby in there."

You should have seen her face light up. Immediately she started rubbing and patty my belly and then of course big sister Nora started doing the same explaining that it was her baby brother in there (sorry for any spoiler). This little girl was in awe. And before I knew it there was about 20 little girl hands all over my belly (yes, it was pretty much ONLY the girls, the boys definitely kept their distance...ha)! I think you could call me the class room show and tell this morning! It was pretty awesome!

Yes, My Due Date is May...

as in the end of May. Please put your eyes back into you head. NO, I'm not having twins...I'm sure. These are the answers to the questions I get ALL the time. This kid literally popped out from about month 4. I cannot suck it in...I've tried. Please be kind.

What the Heck...

This kid in my belly is making me lose my mind. I've forgotten my purse at a couple places, I've tried to throw down with multiple people in cars that are idiots, I'm always hungry or peeing...if you need to find me look in the kitchen or bathroom...if you need to find my kid or husband I may not be able to help you as I might have forgotten them somewhere on my way to the bathroom or kitchen.

Christmas...no pictures. Completely forgot to charge my quickly dying camera battery. That isn't supposed to happen...she's only 3...I cannot believe I missed it. Least I got that one measly cell phone picture and one flip video. Hopefully, my first born will forgive me one day!

First born...hmmm...leads me to second child. Boy or girl. To tell or not to tell...that is the question. For today's five year old moment mommy moment, I guess that is one question "for me to know and for you to find out". Hahaha. Maybe I'll play a little nicer when or if my daddy dearest finds out...by us slipping or him just giving up the fight. Somehow I think it will be the former before the later!
