2010 Pumpkin Patch

Our annual trip to the Pumpkin Pie Patch...as least that is what Nora calls it...guess calling her that for years has rubbed off! Ha! PS - Notice the new shorter haircut. She said she wanted it cut like Mommy's so we bit the bullet. It is super cute but I miss the long locks!!!

Christmas Day Fun

Daddy teaching Nora how to build a snowman...good thing Daddy has spent some time in NY with Mommy or he might have not known how. :-)

Throwing snowballs as Daddy is AWESOME!!!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

Ever since I moved to Texas, White Christmas has had a special place in my heart. Many times, Christmas day is easily in the 50's. That is not Christmas to this Northern New Yorker!!!! However, this year I (and all Dallasites) got a bit of a treat!!!

The Annual Halloween Picture

2009

Trick-or-Treating

This is the first year we really went trick-or-treating. We figured we would just go to a couple houses in the neighborhood. Well, it only took about 2 houses for Nora to turn around and tell us, "okay, let's go to the next house now." So needless to say, we hit a few more houses than we anticipated. Eventually she got tired and decided it was time to go home and pass out candy!

Nora all set to start...

Halloween Preview

Here it is...revealed...the 2009 Homemade Halloween Costume. It may look only like a witch, but no, this is the revered Princess Witch. We are very into Princesses right now, but anyone who knows me knows that is a very hard pill to swallow. While it is becoming easier...shocking I know...I still cannot play that game totally. Therefore...the "Princess" Witch.

Pumpkins

We did our "traditional" visit to the local pumpkin patch. Here are the results...

She was attempting to lift some of the big pumpkins...after a couple tries, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said, "It too heavy." I've been told the last one looks like me...I'm guessing it is the wrinkled up nose and general WTF look on her face. Ha.

Easter

The Easter outfit pose...the sweater covers most of it, but this is a handmade dress from my aunt...and handmade means hand...not sewing machine made. Beautiful.

Nora's "first" Easter bunny! The look after her first bite...the look after a few more bites...SUGAR!!!!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was so much fun. We actually woke Nora up telling her that "OMG, Santa came and left you toys!!!" Her eyes showed a bit of curiosity to what Mommy and Daddy were trying to tell her. "Toys" she said. "Yes, TOYS, Nora. Come on, lets go to the living room!" chanted Mommy and Daddy. Mommy runs ahead in order to get in place to take pictures, Daddy follows close behind with the video camera. Out into the living room we go. We were soooo excited to see her face...the first time she realized Santa really does pay good girls a visit by leaving lots of goodies. And then it is...the time to see her face light up in excitement...she runs over to the...open window to see that Santa is still inflated at the house next door. She ran right past the kitchen Santa left her and Mommy and Daddy were a bit deflated! Oh well, it was still a great day!

Santa Visit

Santa stopped by daycare. How lucky are Mommy and Daddy for not "having" to stand in line. We have the best daycare ever! Merry Christmas, Ms. Hope, Alicia, & Megan!
