Our little family that is. Yes, we will be welcoming a brother or sister for Nora the end of May. Everyone is pretty excited and Nora is already predicting which we will have. Typically she is saying it's a girl in Mommy's belly, but occasionally it changes. The rest of us seem to have already starting "him"ing it. Time will tell...

Missing Teeth

Nora's been without tooth for about a year...Evan not so long. The funny thing is that the first tooth they are both missing is the same one! Love the toothless smiles!!!

Papa's Birthday

We were lucky enough to have Papa Lehman here while he was celebrating his birthday. Nora completely enjoyed it. We decorated cupcakes (Nora's flavor choice of confetti cake and confetti frosting...sorry for you lack of input Dad!), sang Happy Birthday, blew out the candles, ate cake and, best of all, ate ice cream right out of the tub!!!! Birthdays are the BEST!!!!

We got to visit family...she is in absolute infatuation with Evan...and for some reason she finds it fun to tease Kelsey and Derek by not paying them any attention. Little TOOT!

Misc Birthday Pictures

Nora's cake was my attempt at being Martha...not too bad, but no Martha! Since Nora came home with a big lip, my sis thought it would be a good idea to share the frosting straight from the jar with her...I think she still has a sugar high from it...least she shared with my sis!!! Overall, I definitely think she dug this birthday more than her first...might have been the new tricycle!

Birthday Weekend Advertures

Overall the pumpkin did have a great birthday. Like I said her aunt and cousin were in town to help celebrate as well as all her grandparents and lots of friends! We visited the Dallas Children's Museum, the Fort Worth zoo, the Stockyards, the annual SWA Chili Cookoff, danced to Irish music...all this in 3 days...talk about a whirlwind visit.

And yes...the picture of the firetruck...that is the firetruck that started the demise of her first tooth! Bad firetruck!

Nora and Her Cousins

She had more fun picking on Kelsey (she would pretend to have nothing to do with her so she had to be bribed with yumyum's...rotten Nora). She "stole" a ride on Evan's brand new birthday bike (Evan was a terrific sport and shared with her very nicely). And chilled with Derek (I love that they are both making the same face in this picture). We had a great trip to NY!!!

Texas State Fair

We took Nora to her first TX State Fair outing with none other than her mommom and papa who were visiting from NY. We didn't get too many pictures and got NONE of her with mommom and papa, but we had a great time needless to say. We had corny dogs, caught the car show and rode our first ride with Daddy.

Do you think we get to go home soon? I think I see the car....

A Bunch of Firsts

Nora had a bunch of firsts on our trip to NY.
Here's the list...started saying "that", "weeee" and "up", rolled down a hill, got "mulled" by two beagles and a German Shepard, rode a 4 wheeler, a tractor and a horse, fed a goat, got licked by a cow, played put put (well kind of), was taught how to spit (I don't think she caught on thankfully) and stayed in a hotel. Not bad for a girl under a year and a half.






Mom and Dad realized their baby girl loves all animals...any shape and size...and the bigger and sloppier the kiss the better! I think she was slimed for more than half the trip thanks to dogs, goats and cows. We realized that dad stands for both Mommy and Daddy and the words 'Dad', 'dog' and 'that' sound oddly the same (only the trained ear of a Mommy or Daddy can distinguish). We realized she can say more words but pulls them out only when needed such as trying to get out of Aunt Heather's arms so she told her Daddy, "UP, UP!"
